Are we using the full functionalily of Booki ?
April 05, 2014, 05:34:58 am
I have been looking at the book a bit lately and I find the navigation system rather limiting.  Having two levels of menu (ie Chapter and section) makes navigation hard for long Sections.

I presume that Booki only allows those two levels but thought I would ask if someone with higher access than I have can confirm that?

Also,  I presume we have the full range of editing tools exposed?  Being able to have a TOC at the the top of a section with click through links would alleviate the "only two levels of navigation" problem, but there is no ability to create anchors within a section at the moment.

Joanne - I think only possibly Michael McAndrews would have answers on this, and he will be back in the mix and with us at the sprint - so could discuss and try some improvements once we're all there. OR if you can find a forum or chat room on Booki, you could try asking there. ??

Or ... Adam Hyde who led our first few book sprints might be able to help. I'm not sure how much involvement he has with Booki at this point but you could try reaching out to him directly: adam at flossmanuals dot net
