Hi, (Summarizing last several entries in this post and deleting them. The third entry has all the info and is easier to read.)

note it is a ONE not an I

(Summarized and moved my posts to this post. So Donald's response above occurred after my original, less clearly written, post.)

I recently migrated a Drupal CiviCRM site into WP 3.82. CiviCRM version 4.29 and there are problems with a profile page.
The url for the profile is "/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/profile/reset=1&gid=8"

This entry and those below are describing a situation where the "reset" in the profile URL was not working.

Donald Lobo suggested (above) that I change part of the URL from "reset=I" (which is in the Drupal site's URL for this profile) to "reset=1".

This worked great and solved all the problems, but only for one page load. After that, the page no longer resets.
In this non-reset condition, the search form is collapsed, old search results populate the results area, and mapping does not work.

I have cleared the browser cache, flushed dns, used Chrome and IE, in addtion to Firefox but reloading the page still does not reset it.

Also, in the new WP site, one must be logged in as admin or this error occurs: "Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment. The requested Profile (gid=8) is disabled OR it is not configured to be used for 'Profile' listings in its Settings OR there is no Profile with that ID OR you do not have permission to access this profile. Please contact the site administrator if you need assistance."

Really confused as to which way to go to solve this. (Permissions? Upgrade to 4.4? Plugin conflict?)

Thank you again most sincerely for any help,

Dave M

Thanks again Donald! That sounds great. Otherwise, these symptoms make no sense.
