Event registration (requiring approval) loses multiselect data

I have events where I select "Require participant approval?" and where the participant fills out a profile with additional Custom Data for the event.

When the administrator approves the event application and the participant receives the confirmation email and clicks through to confirm his/her information, some of the custom data from the profile no longer appears.

This is in the case where I have custom data set up when more than one option can be selected (checkboxes; multiselect; or advanced multiselect). When the participant reviews the registration information, all this data has gone.

I tried to replicate this on the demo site, but for some reason I couldn't see how to activate the "Require participant approval?" option.

Anyone else having this problem?
