Where is the event location stored in the DB?
April 17, 2014, 02:24:33 pm
I am trying to create a Drupal View that allows people to search for events created in CiviCRM, but the event location is not showing up in the list of available fields to expose. I am looking for where the event's address or location is stored in the database, but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated.

The event address it stored in civicrm_address.   When I create a view for events they are just there available for use, but then I am using Civicrm 4.4 not 3.4 .

Your whole install (php, mysql, drupal and civicrm) uses very old versions.

Are you able to upgrade these?

Unfortunately I am not able to upgrade at this point. At least not easily. There was a lot of customization done to our current version and would need to do a lot of regression testing. Thanks for your reply! I will look to see if I can figure out how to do an events View.

Joanne, your reply helped out tremendously. I was under the impression that the address for an event would be in a separate table than the address for a constituent. When looking at the fields to expose in Drupal Views, it showed "CiviCRM: Address" even though I had created a Drupal View for CiviCRM: Event, so I was confused.
