I'm having troubles with bounced emails. I followed, I think, the instructions (including here: http://book.civicrm.org/user/current/advanced-configuration/email-system-configuration/ ).

My main issue at the moment is that the email account setup for Bounce Processing (noreply@vivredignite.org) isn't even receiving bounces. I checked that emails get to that account if sent directly. I made sure at least one email in my test mailing group would bounce (bounce-test@service.socketlabs.com).

My emails are delivered properly to the "good" email addresses. But nothing lands in the noreply@vivredignite.org from bounces.

//EDIT: following morning, looking at the mailing report and it says that delivery to the bad email address was successful.

Do you have the email account configured a catchall email account on your server?

No, I don't have that address as a catch-all account. I did not think that was necessary from the docs I read.

I was wondering if you found a solution to this problem, as I'm experiencing the same thing (good emails go through, but although there is a fake contact with an invalid email included, report says 100% successful and bounces do not land in bounce inbox).
