Bulk Email Activities Missing after upgrading to 4.4.5

After upgrading to 4.4.5, Bulk Email activities are not displayed when a contact's activities are view.  Contacts who received Bulk Mail are still listed in the CiviMail reports.  Has anyone else seen this?  Any ideas about what is happening?

I uncheck the setting activities for CiviMail and the Mailings tab appeared.  However, when I click the Mailings tab I get the warning message in the attached image and no mailings are listed.

Were you able to resolve this issue? We are having the same problem - I've enabled activities for bulk emails in the CiviMail component settings, but nothing displays when I select Bulk Email under a contact's activities. The activities count no longer includes the bulk emails sent, which I understand was intentional, but we'd really like to be able to easily view this information.
