Navigating the Community Forums

Hi,

I posted a couple of days ago in here and haven't been able to relocate my posting to reply to an answer that was given to me regarding my issue (I'm obviously new).  How do I search for posts I've made?  I went back into the forum I originally posted in but it isn't located there.  Shouldn't there be a way to easily revisit the posts I've made?  Thanks for any input, and sorry if I've posted in the wrong category.
