Author Topic: JSON formatting error when Contact Mailings tab is clicked (Read 1132 times)

I recently upgraded to 4.4.5 from 4.4.3 and noticed that Bulk Mailing activities are no longer listed under a contact's activities tab. Based on information in another post I unchecked the box for "Enable CiviMail to create activities on delivery" which enable the contact mailing tab.

When I click on the mailings tab, for contacts with mailings, I get this error: "DataTables warning: JSON data from server could not be parsed. This is caused by a JSON formatting error." and not mailings are listed. Any ideas about this?

It looks as if this has been fixed in 4.5. See: https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-14731

We are on 4.4.5 and we get the JSON error. How do we correct this?
