Scheduled Reminders - without auto-renew option?

Hi there,
Is there anyway in which a scheduled reminder for Memberships can be setup without the Membership type having an auto-renew option configured?
When proceeding through the steps to setup a scheduled reminder for a membership type that has no auto-renew option, the scheduled reminder will not save because there is nothing to select in the -auto renew options- list. Is it even possible to send a scheduled reminder for membership types that don't have auto-renew options?

Are you able to reproduce this behaviour on the wordpress civicrm demo site?

I have no trouble setting up scheduled reminders for memberships that aren't set up for auto-renewals.

Can you try on the joomla demo site and see if you can set it up there.

If not can you list the steps you have taken and where you got stuck.
