Contacts - Advanced Search results - possible bug in DataTables package
May 01, 2014, 12:34:57 am
Noticed a bug with display and record selection in advanced search results:

To replicate:
1.   Go to Contacts > Find Contacts – Advanced Search
2.   Set to find all Individual Type Contacts
3.   Search (returns thousands of records)
4.   In the resulting table, scroll to the bottom and select 100 rows per page
5.   In the resulting table, go to page 20.
6.   Select all records by selecting the header row checkbox

The selected records are not reflected in the record count at the top of the page. This displays 50 selected records
Resetting the rows per page to 50 does not update the values and after selecting all records again, the record count displayed is 0

I have attempted to debug, but cannot locate the code that displays/loads the records in jquery datatable...
I cannot replicate the behaviour on the demo page as the number of contacts is very low. The bug seems to appear when you navigate above page 7/8.

Any help with this? I am using the search results to batch update records. Doing 100 at a time is much faster than 50 at a time :)

I would be willing to share screenshots privately.
