Fatal Upgrade error 4.3.8 => 4.4.5

Hi folks,

I'm getting the following error when upgrading a Drupal 7.27 CiviCRM 4.3.8 installation to 4.4.5:

Your error has been reported many times in the past, but mostly we don't know what causes it. Can you try a smaller upgrade and see if that helps?
