Buildkit and upgrade testing
May 09, 2014, 09:17:36 pm
I've introduced a new command to buildkit to facilitate upgrade-testing ( https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-buildkit/pull/37 ). This is based on "civicrm-upgrade-test" (which we use in Jenkins -- and which some folks use manually), but now it's packaged so that it works with any Drupal-based build (and doesn't require any extra configuration/setup).

To give it a whirl:

1. Install or update buildkit. (To update buildkit, run "git pull" and then "./bin/civi-download-tools")
2. See the walk-through in the README: https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-buildkit/blob/master/README.md#daily-coding-upgrade-testing

I'll be traveling for the next week -- but will try to answer problems/questions when I can.
