Styling buttons

I know CiviCRM's CSS is a bit of a monster in that it tends to override the theme's CSS.

Previously, wonderful people on these forums have helped me to change the wording appearing on buttons:

Is there a way of styling the buttons used in CiviCRM so that they match the WP theme in use? Or at least use the shortcode themes in use? Or, hell, some way of manually styling them to match? It just looks "clunky" having completely different buttons appear on forms (e.g. "Continue >>", "Submit" etc.) compared to the rest of the site.
