Say, organization A has two addresses: a work address, and a billing address.

Now I create a new organization that shares an address with organization A.
On the "new contact"-form, I click on "Add address" and I check "use another contact's address". When I lookup organization A, civi will display the two addresses with radio buttons. But I don't see which one is the work address and which one is the billing address.

It would be useful if the location type was shown between brackets after each address.
Is that possible?

yes it would certainly be possible, but it would need either customization or a core functional request in an issue?
