CiviDiscount not functioning

I just upgraded my Civicrm to 4.4.5 and successfully installed CiviDiscount through the "Manage Extension" menu.
However, when I select "CiviDiscount" at the bottom of the Administer menu pop-up, I get sent back to the main dashboard.
I am unable to access CiviDiscount in order to configure it.

Any ideas how to fix this?

RESOLVED - This problem was resolved by simply disabling the extension and then enabling it again - now it works.
