Adding multiple relationships to an individual at once

Hi There,

I am looking for a way to add multiple relationships between a contact and more than one newly created contact. By this I mean when I go to add a relationship, I would like to be able to put in that X is the Parent Of Y, and is also the Coworker of Z, as well as the Attorney For W without having to go through the "add relationship" process for every different relationship. Granted these people are no necessarily in the database, so exporting to a CSV file won't work.

I am also looking for a way to add multiple relationships between 2 people at once. For example, if X is the Grandparent Of Y, as well as the Guardian Of Y, I would like to be able to have check boxes or something to imply multiple relationships at once without having to go through the "add relationship" process for every different relationship.

Your first 'wish' will be granted in the upcoming 4.5 release. The Add Relationship form has been simplified AND supports creating N relationships of a given type at once. Screenshot attached. You can try it out on the 4.5 sandbox:

The second requirement requires initially some design / UI thinking. I don't recall it coming up as a requirement in the past. If you're interested in trying to make it happen, you might start w/ creating a mockup or sketch of how you think it could work and discussing it here or on IRC.

Does this new feature only allow me to create relationships to people already in the database? Or is this an option to create someone new and then create a relationship from this new tab?
