Contribution page gives "Payment processor must be selected"
May 16, 2014, 04:29:37 pm
When attempting to use a newly created contribution page I receive the error shown in the attachment.

I've also noticed that the payment processor (such as PayPal) I've selected on the Amounts tab does not save.

I have no other contribution pages set up.  This is the first attempt at using CiviCRM for online donations.

I have no idea where to begin troubleshooting this problem.

Try creating a second, "dummy" test processor in Administer > System Settings.  Then add this payment processor (or the "pay later" option to the contribution page you are working on temporarily to see if that solves the problem.

If CiviCRM is "not saving" it is likely a configuration or template issue.  Try checking your civicrm.settings.php file to make sure the BASE_URL is the same as what you see in your browser.  Also delete everything within the sites/default/files/civicrm/templates_c cache directory.

Then run www.mysite.com/civicrm/menu/rebuild?reset=1
Try CiviTeacher: the online video tutorial CiviCRM learning library.
