Administrator not seeing contact notes

Hi,

The managers on civicrm on my site seem not to be able to see their own notes they create against a contact. The number of notes updates and if they add another note the first one is shown on the screen but it doesn't appear when they simply clickon the 'Notes' Tab.

I've attached screenshots of the contact view for a manager and for a super user.

I've double checked the Joomla ACL permissions and I can't see anything obviously set wrong.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour or might know why my managers can;t see the contact notes?

Hi,

Further investigation seems to point at the Browser no the user.

It looks as though I.E. is not showing the notes (and other issues like not showing the correct dashlets when you configure your dashboard) while Firefox works just fine.

Has anyone else see I.E. have issues with data not being refreshed/cahced properly within CiviCRM?

Yes, IE is a problem and particularly IE8 is a problem.  You can file a bug report at JIRA with links and screenshots and wait for CiviCRM to fix this issue ...or you can use another browser.
