I am running a CiviCRM/Drupal installation on a GoDaddy Virtual Private Server (VPS).  The VPS has plenty of resources for the site, as it is the only thing running on the server, but yet I have numerous issues.

My main issue is sending out mailings.  When a mailing is sent out, in CiviCRM, I can see whether or not the user received it.  While CiviCRM says that the user has received the mailing that was sent out, the user has not "actually" received it, and even checks their SPAM mailbox, which it is not there.

Some of the users receiving emails are on private email systems (work email, etc) or are on emails for their ISPs.  The users that are not receiving emails are on Yahoo, GMail, and AOL email accounts.

I've double-checked and triple-checked all of my settings, and everything looks correct.  This is becoming a huge issue that I need resolved ASAP. 

Please advise.

Are you seeing any bounces in your mailing reports in CiviMail?

If not please test that your return channel and thus bounce processing is working

When testing please make sure that you are using a 'bad' email that will actually bounce ( for example make sure there is no catch all set up for that email domain).
