Wrong Assigned To Not right Wordpress User

Hello,

I login with some user from wordpress, the user has a emailadres, now i want to add a activity to some client, and the Assigned To Is not the same as my login..

How can i solve this?

IN other words,

Can i connect a Wordpress User to a CiviCRM ID or CiviCRM_contact

Also when i create a new activity, the CiviCRM created a new contact..

Could the error be causes by the fact that i have copy the CiviCRM database to a new domain, but the Users of Worpress are not the same as it was before?

So for example, Mr. A. With CiviCRM_ID1 is connected to Wordpress User 1,
But Wordpress User 1 is now someone else??

I hope someone can help me.

I have changed the UF_MATCH the table from the Wordpress user ID to the new one. And the first tests were good.. I hope this is the way to fix it.

Yes, that's exactly the problem.

You could also have tried the Synchronize Users-to-Contacts tool but your method should also work fine.

Hello Again,

I have created two new Wordpress Users, After that i have synchronized the users. But one of the two is not added in the UF_MATCH table. How can i add some manual?

Or do i have the wrong procedure?

I'm not sure. Could you try emptying that table first and then run the Synchronization tool?

This works fine now. but some of the old match are now not matched, but i think this is because the email does not match?

Can you explain something about the match? Does is match with emailadres?

What should be the right way to match users?

1: First add a user to wordpress, then add a contact in CiviCRM. Last stap Synchronize?
2: Add a contact in CiviCRM, than a user in Wordpress, Than synchronize?

Try to just add a user in WordPress and that may automatically create the Contact in CiviCRM. That's how it works in other CMS's.
