Users are bypassing required fields
May 20, 2014, 02:30:06 pm
I've got a client using drupal_webform, as a mailing list signup - very basic usage.  However, we've got two instances now where a user was added via the webform and the required fields weren't filled out.  In one case, there's one record, missing the required fields; in the second instance, the form appears to have been submitted four times (date created in Civi is the same for all four), and three of the four are missing the required field.

Now, I can't figure out how to bypass required fields in Webform despite trying - so is there something else I can look for that might explain this?  Maybe the required fields were filled out but somehow didn't make it from Webform to Civi?  The fields in question are "e-mail address" and "postal code" - no custom fields here.

I seem to remember a bug a while back that caused requred fields to be able to be bypassed, but it's been fixed. Are you on the latest version?
