How to tell civicrm to forget you on the registration form ?
May 06, 2008, 07:10:43 am
Hi,

I'm testing the online registration, with FF connected as an admin and konqueror as an anonymous visitor.

I'm pretty sure anonymous is really anonymous, as the left column is empty (is disabled every block in it for anonymous).

However, when I go to register:
/civicrm/event/register?id=4&reset=1

I got this error message:
"Oops. It looks like you are already registered for this event. If you want to change your registration, or you feel that you've gotten this message in error, please contact the site administrator."

(and yes, I did manage to completely screw my account and fill it with random stuff I typed on the first registration, without noticing what I was doing).

Why is konqueror seen as my user instead of anonymous ? Is there a cookie ? is this IP address based ?

X+

what's your CiviCRM version? We had similar issue that we have fixed. Can you try to replicate it on demo.

thanx,

kurund
