Email when activity updated

Is there a way to have an email generated to the user each time an activity is updated? For example i have activity statuses that are pending or complete. When i change an activity to complete then i would like an email to go to that person.

You might be able to do this if you go to Administer>communications>schedule reminders.

Depending on what activities you are are talking about you may need (someone) to tweak the code as indicated in http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,30793.msg132360.html#msg132360
