Did CiviMail Bulk Activity Tracking Change

So I notice that while my bulk mail is going out just fine -  and the reports from civimail are working just fine

When I go to an individual contact - I no longer see any bulk mail activity for any of my contacts

They all show up in mail report..

In some sense I kind of like it - as it makes my contact record less busy - on the other hand - want to know if this by design - or is something screwed up...

Bulk email activities are now specifically excluded form loading into the activities tab for performance reasons.

Go to Administer > CiviMail > CiviMail Component settings and UNselect Enable CiviMail to create activities on delivery.  This will create a new Mailings tab for your contacts that contains a list of the bulk emails they have been sent.
