Membership doesn't transfer along relationship type

Hi guys,

My team is finding since the upgrade to 4.4.4 that memberships aren't transferring along the relationships when the relationship is added. To do this, the membership has to be edited and then saved (even if no changes are made).

Please can anyone here confirm if they've encountered the same issue?
