search builder "IN" operator does not work at all
June 10, 2014, 05:27:23 pm
Search builder is not working for me, see the screen shot attached. Search builder is expecting some specific format, and I have not yet guessed at what is right.

On our CiviCRM site search builder page, there is a link to civicrm documentation, but the link is no good.

I searched on the CiviCRM site and could find no documentation.

Any suggestions?

CiviCRM Version 4.1.5. I tried in 4.3.4 and it did not work either

Well the obvious thing to try would be a comma between the two ids (it would be very unusual if it worked with just a space) and if that doesn't work then try a bracket around the values.  ie mimic SQL syntax.

There was a bug with the IN operator with the search builder. The REGEX operator works, so you could use that one.

Please use the latest version (4.4.x) - search builder has undergone some recent improvements which address these problems.
