CiviCRM Database Upgrade Utility errors off.
June 12, 2014, 10:35:50 am
I uploaded and installed CiviCRM 4.4.5.  Install was successful.  As requested by the instructions, I ran the Database Upgrade Utility (http://councilofthebaptized.org/administrator/?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/upgrade&reset=1)  but was stopped almost immediately by the error below.  I am attempting to get my provider to be certain I have trigger privilege.  Civi is certainly not looking at my data, since the most simple search yields:  Field not found.  More hope for tomorrow.

CiviCRM-001 - An error has occurred.
Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
CiviCRM 4.4.5 requires MySQL trigger privilege

I have been trying to get my server-people to provide the trigger privilege, but running the Utility still ends up with the same error.   I am going back to them once more.  I presume I will move on to the next error.   :P

I noticed this post is pretty much a duplicate of your post here: https://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,33051.0.html

No need to double post. No one has responded because the issue is pretty clear -- your hosting environment does not currently meet the requirements for CiviCRM. You will need to continue down the path of working with your hosting provider to enable triggers for your DB user, or consider moving to a new host. There's really nothing additional to offer in terms of advice at this point.

This may not be necessary in the Forum.  But thanks, lcdweb.

Onward.
