We've built a new report template and previously used it to generate new reports. But today when trying to create a new report based on that template I get a white screen at the point of creating the report, and two pop-up messages: the first says the report has been successfully built and that I am now viewing it, and the second says that CiviCRM "could not find template for this report instance".

Any clues for debugging this?

Replying to my own desperation, because we've managed to fix this. The template had mangled its URL, such that reports created from the template would not work. Correcting the URL in the admin / template settings page and then re-creating the report solved the problem.
