Donor Report (Summary) requires group by receive date if using receive date filt
June 28, 2014, 01:04:49 am
Hi

I am wondering why the donor report (summary) requires the group_by column for receive date if you use receive date filtering. In the organisation i am with we have found if we do a report with financial year dates and it needs group by and we set it to the max which is yearly frequency. That if a contact has donated more than the min aggregate amount in both July 1 -> December 31st. and Jan 1 -> June 30. It produces 2 rows for the contact one for each calendar year. I am just wondering why the group by is necessary.
