About the new Canada Anti-Spam Law CASL

The new Canada Anti-Spam Law (CASL) goes into effect today, July 1, 2014.

If your organization is located in Canada OR if you are not in Canada, but you have subscribers who are, you are likely subject to CASL.

Thanks for the great summary!

Just a nitpick: organisations/individuals outside Canada should not be subject to CASL, since they are not subject to Canadian law?

If you send emails to recipients in Canada then you might be subject to this law even if you are a US business.
