Dear Community!

I want to enable registration for the roles "Speaker" or "Host" (preferrable in the backend) but have problems with the payment as this group of "participants" does not pay fees. Is there a way to set fees for specific roles to "zero"?
I used a second price set "Speaker" with 0 "zero" but it is available for all users and in the fronten, too.

Does anybody have a suggestion.

The way I have dealt with this is in the past is to create another price field called registration offsets within the main price set and set visibility to admin.

The price options can consist of a single entry Speaker/Host with the price set to the negative of your registration fee.

This also lets you include other offsets as required. For example you may have a special "catering only" fee that applies to some people.

That is a good suggestion. I did not recognize the "admin only" option before. Now I have installed a Priceset with options for the admin only hanle this.

Thanks - this is a much better solution for me. I was using CiviDiscount before, but this is much neater and more flexible.
