Issue with event registration after site moved to root ...
May 12, 2008, 09:12:09 am
Ok, now I have another issue that looks like it's related to moving the site to root.  I have 2 event registration forms - the forms display without issue.  When I complete the form (either in test mode or live mode) and click "next" or submit, I get a white blank screen.  It doesn't show me the conformation page it should show - we had this working without issue when we had the Drupal site installed in its own sub folder.

So the form tries to go here (when I click submit/next):

/civicrm/event/register

But I get a white screen (blank) vs. the confirmation page .  Then when I try navigating back to our site home page I get this error:

warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/Mail/mimePart.php:658) in /home/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Utils/System.php on line 417.

Any ideas/suggestions?

A couple of q's first:

When you get the white screen, did you check your apache logs for errors? Is there anything?

Do you have debugging and backtrace enabled in Administer CiviCRM > Global Settings > Debugging?

Since you've moved the site, did you check your resource urls and site directories? Did you check your civicrm.settings.php file to make sure that the BASEURL is reflected correctly?

Did you clear out your templates_c folder when you moved your site?

Just figured we'd get these out of the way first.
