WordPress: How to send a Confirmation email on Profile online submission

How can I set up an online form, profile generated, so that a confirmation email will be sent to the person submitting the form?  I want to send an email similar to that sent to addresses specified under "Notify when profile form is submitted?"

Is there a way to do this without custom programming?
