CiviVolunteer Install - Not on Menu
July 11, 2014, 07:42:10 am
After installing CiviVolunteer, I'm not finding that the expected menu items are in the menu. There weren't any errors during installation and the extension show as enabled in the extension manager. Right after installation there was a popup that said to read the documentation and configure volunteer roles. I clicked to configure the roles and I got the list of default roles so I know something is installed.

I'm using Wordpress.

Does anyone have an idea what to do next?

Presently, CiviVolunteer doesn't add any new items to the top-level menu.

To turn volunteering on for an event, go to Events > Manage Events. For the event that needs volunteers, click Configure > Volunteers.

Glad to help, John. If you find the documentation lacking somehow, please feel free to make a contribution. If you're familiar with/not afraid to learn GitHub, you could make a pull request against the CiviVolunteer repository. If that's not your speed, maybe filing an issue describing the changes you'd like to see is a better fit. Thanks!
