Searching CiviCRM from Drupal
July 11, 2014, 08:29:30 pm
I have configured my website to allow accessing CiviCRM data from Drupal views - and it works well. However, when I enter a search term into the Drupal search box, it does not find CiviCRM content. Though this is hardly a surprise, I was wondering if there is some way to enable this functionality.

Any ideas?

You might take a look at the work that's been done on CiviCRM + SOLR integration in Drupal.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

if you have Views for civi data, then you can expose the filters for a Views page as a block and use that for your search box.
