what caches to clear in civicrm 3.4.7?
July 15, 2014, 12:46:01 pm
Hi everyone -

I am running into an issue on an older civicrm install (3.4.7!) with some custom code and would be grateful for any troubleshooting help! When I edit the code, the changes are not showing up on the frontend. I have tried deleting templates_c folder, clearing all drupal caches, but I am still not seeing the new code.

Thanks for any suggestions! :)

Cheers,

Tobias

Toby, I hope for your sake that the "new code" you refer to is security patches, cause there have been some major SAs since the end of the 4.3 cycle.
What and where is the code? Is it a php file in core? Or a tpl in your custom templates directory? Or a css override? Or what?
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Hi Coleman! Thanks for the super quick reply - much appreciated. As usually happens with me, as soon as I asked the question I found out the answer on my own. I was actually looking at stale code that is no longer being used, and the text I was trying to change had been moved to a drupal view.
