Apologies for what I think is probably a very simple question. The Civi manual says that it is possible to add contacts to a group "by clicking a group's Contacts link in Navigation Menu > Contacts > Manage Groups."

When I select a group in Manage Groups and click Contacts, I then cannot see how to add people to the group from this page. Please can you tell me how to do it. Many thanks.

Is it likely to be resolved fairly quickly as it's core functionality and it's the only way to add people from a group itself? We frequently have quite a lot of random individuals who can't be selected together but need to be added to the same group. Going into each record is very time consuming so reinstating the missing button would be ultra helpful. Thanks again.

Sometimes we can and sometimes the individuals' links are too random to make it possible. It's an ease of use thing mainly as doing it from Manage Groups means you can quickly select three random individuals and add them.

The only thing linking them otherwise may be that they're members of the church and Adv Search would pull up 1200 people. We can show 500 people per page but if the 3 people have surnames A, L and Z, that means only one can be selected per page as they're dispersed and that's then three 'Add to Group' actions - a lot of work when it can be done instead from the button that was lost in transit!!

On a different note we've now developed recording and reporting on attendance for Civi Groups. Our issue is getting it into an extension format as we don't have the development time for that right now, but it's good stuff!
