Thanks for the iats extension.

I thought you should know that an iats password with special characters will cause the Civicrm Iats payments extension to fail.

Here was my experience:

1. I had tested a contribution page hooked up to Iats and it worked perfectly.
2. I changed the default password for my agent login at Iats and then changed the pw in the payment processor settings at CiviCRM. That pw had special characters (I don't remember which ones).
3. I initiated another transaction and got the following error and payment did not go through:
Strict warning: Declaration of CRM_Core_Payment_iATSService::singleton() should be compatible with & CRM_Core_Payment::singleton($mode, &$paymentProcessor, &$paymentForm = NULL, $force = false) in CRM_Core_Payment::singleton() (line 112 of /home/accountname/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/Payment.php).4. I changed my iats agent pw to one without special characters and updated it in the CiviCRM payment processor settings.
5. Initiated another transaction which succeeded.
