Yesterday we noticed that mass mailings to smart groups created within CIVICRM 4.5 Beta 1 were not going through after being submitted for immediate release. In the Mailings > Scheduled & Sent Mailings the Mailing is set to Scheduled even though it was set to immediately send...and it never gets released.
Interestingly enough, the test message is sent perfectly with no problem. All of this is being sent via the Mandrill Messaging platform. We have tried this with and without the mandrill extension also which was ding used with the 4.4.5 version before upgrade to the Beta 1.

Please advise.

Nevermind, found the problem....scheduled jobs for mailings was not enabled....please ensure that this setting is not changed during an update. Also had to run this action manually from the scheduled jobs area. It was not running automatically by itself. This needs to be looked at
