Hi everyone.
I'm starting a civicrm plattform and I'm just starting to know the little universe that is Civicrm, so I apologize in advance if my question turns out to be a really stupid one.
Basically I manage a large database of contacts that I need to subdivide geographically by region (thing that I manage to do thanks to the smartgroups).
the problem is that I need a medium level admin, a region coordinator, who needs to be able to manage and see only the contacts of his area.
I used the ACL component to create a role for a single group (for example I created a "california referent" group, with a single user/admin able only to view and edit the california resident contact in the "California resident" smart group) but that works only for the view/edit contact part, not for the civimail and the other components.
In the end I don't know if the smartgroup/acl structure is the more appropriate for my purpouse - a regional admin able only to manage, send mail, create events, etc etc for his region contacts.
thanks in advance for any help.
Federico
