Can't Update TY Dates on Recurring Contributions

Hello! I am a brand new CiviCRM user running into some trouble.

Whenever I try to update the Thank you date on people who have made a recurring contribution through Paypal I get the following error message: "Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment. DB Error: already exists"

Please help! Anyone know what's wrong??

Hi there!

Two things:
* That "DB Error: Already Exists" message will contain a lot more info if you go to Administer menu > System Settings > Debugging and Error Handling and turn on "Enable Debugging" and "Display Backtrace".  If you give us the full error, we can be more helpful to you!  Be sure to turn deubbing off again one you've done that, assuming this is a live site.
* You're on a relatively old version of CiviCRM - upgrading may help, in case this bug's already been fixed!
