Webform payment integration
July 23, 2014, 01:49:05 pm
I am using the webform payment integration feature. I have it setup with authorize.net as a payment processor. For some reason it is not pulling the payment details (such as the payment processor page name) over to authorize.net. It does pull over whether or not the payment was successful but it doesn't pull over any information about where that payment came from (payment processor name).

Also if someone chooses the pay later option (pay by check) it does not save the payment as a pending pay later it saves it as a pending incomplete transaction.

any thoughts?

The second part sounds like a bug, I can look at it next week just remind me.
For the first part, what's the field you are expecting to get populated?

Normally when looking in authrize.net reports it tells me what payment page the payment is coming from. in this case it does not tell anything other than the amount paid and that it was successful. It also does not pull the invoice number over to auth.net. with any other payment page it always gives that information to authorize.net

OK I have pushed up a fix to the pay-later issue. You'll find this fixed in the latest -dev of the module (which should be safe to use in production).

I'm less sure about the other issue. It would help to see a comparison of 2 reports from auth.net so I can see exactly what's different. Even more helpful would be to know where the extra data is coming from, but seeing 2 reports would be a start.

here is the report - i removed some data for security reasons. but you can clearly see the difference between the ones where someone paid $20 through a webform and where someone paid a through a normal payment/contribution page. It does not carry over the invoice number as well as the description (description not included in this report).

Am I blind? The only difference I see is that some rows are missing an invoice number.

No thankfully your not blind! This report didn't show where the description was missing. But all you would see on that report is that the transactions using webform payments are missing the description and invoice number. This is a big issue if you have an accountant that likes to compare civicrm reports with the actual accounting reports from the payment processor.  Not sure if this is specific to me or if others are having the same problem with the webform payment integration?
