Blank page after user submits a contribution page
July 29, 2014, 08:38:16 am

Hi I am new to civicrm and have it installed on a Wordpress site.
I have a problem with a contribution page in dealing with Memberships.  The contribution page appears to have installed successfully with the correct membership options.  I have installed the short code in the appropriate Wordpress page.  But when a user submits the form, a blank page then appears, except for the logo, menus and side widgets, and the process does not complete.  The membership does not record and neither does the contribution.  It is set up to deal with contributions through Paypal Standard  and off-line through Cheque or EFT.
The strange thing is that all pages work correctly, the contribution page, the confirmation page and the appropriate payment page,
  • on my testing localhost
when using the "Links" Live or Test
In case of an installation error. I have downloaded and installed civicrm 3 times but the problem is still there.  My Host tells me there is more than sufficient php memory.
Could someone please tell me if there is something that I am missing or doing wrong.
I would appreciate your help.

I ran into this on one of my clients.

Take a look at this https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-14989  This was the fix I needed.

Let us know if this fixes the problem.

Hi Kevin

Many thanks for your reply.

I am totally new to Civicrm so I'm afraid I don't understand what the fix or patch is to rectify this problem.  Could you possibly explain in more detail what action I should take to rectify this?

Am I correct in believing that the problem may be fixed in version 4.4.7 in due course?

I really appreciate your help.

Pete

Hi,

I do believe that this will be fixed in 4.4.7.
