[WP] Issue when trying to record new contribution from contact profile tab

I encountered an issue when trying to record a new contribution from the contact profile tab "Contributions" :
=> Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
"One of the parameter (value:) is not of the type Integer" see backtrace for details.

Is this a system wide problem ( ie it happens for all contact records), or does it only happen for one specific contact?

Hello Joanne,

I tried again this morning and did not have the error pop-up anymore.

I tried 2 scenarios :
- first accessing 2 different contacts from the quick search box >> the contact profile were displayed in front-end (see issue log here : http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,33642.0.html) >> the "add contribution" worked well
- then accessing 2 different contacts from the search ccontact page >> the contact profile were displayed in back-end (normal behavior) >> the "add contribution" worked well too

Do you know what's going on with the contact being displayed in front-end ?

I recall work on a core bug like this. Could you indicate which beta release this came up on, SemperFi?

Hello,

Actually, error is still hapening on the current version of the wordpress/civi sandbox :

When you look for a contact and click on the result the page opened is :
- http://wordpress.sandbox.civicrm.org/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/contact/view&reset=1&cid=92
instead of
- http://wordpress.sandbox.civicrm.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/contact/view&reset=1&cid=92

I don't know if someone is working on the sandbox, but issue is random.
It worked twice on different versions of the beta but most of the time, it's KO.

Pradeep was not able to replicate on the sandbox. I don't think so far that this related to any of the accounting code that we've been helping the core team to maintain.

I wonder if this is related to custom fields of some sort on contributions (or maybe on contacts/memberships/etc). Please provide the backtrace if you manage to cause it again.

I cannot reproduce it today on the sandbox either  ???
