Civicrm contact form
August 05, 2014, 07:51:47 pm
Hi,

hello. im newbie here

Is it possible to have Civicrm provide a contact form for a website so that all contacts are maintained in teh same database as those collected with the contribute form or imported from a list?

The idea here is we could use Civi to send out mailings to a unified list and we would like to include website contact form submission in that...

The contact form would need to send a confirmation email.

thanks.

If you're using Drupal your best options are https://drupal.org/project/webform_civicrm or https://www.drupal.org/project/civicrm_contact_form.

On WP or Joomla you could do something similar by setting up a CiviCRM profile. In WP you can embed this on a page with a shortcode.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
