Email results after filling in the profile form {answered thanks}
May 31, 2007, 04:00:16 am
Hello there!

I just created a stand-alone form for users to fill out.
After the click on "save" I want the results to be emailed to certain people.
Is this possible? How?

Another option is that people receive an email that a new user "signed up" when the form was used...
Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Bas

Hey,

Sending email after filling in the form is not possible with vanilla CiviCRM at the moment. If you are using Drupal, can create a form using Drupal Forms API, and make it both register data in CiviCRM (via CiviCRM API) and send email.

Thx,
m

Perhaps somebody with proper Joomla knowledge can post a hint, I would like to know myself - does Joomla have something relevant to Drupal Forms API? I'm doing all the development and deployments in Drupal, so every occasion to learn something new is most welcome. :)

Thx,
m

If somebody using Drupal will be looking at this thread, it's also worth to take a look here:
