Migrating from 3.2.2 to 4.4.6
August 11, 2014, 08:28:48 am
I have created a new site with the latest version of CIVI. I have also an old website with a CIVI version 3.2.2.
I want to transfer all the old data and the design of forms with custom fields, etc.
How is it possible?
Regards

Rudy Madsen

Upgrading is the most complete way to get civi up to a new version. In theory upgrading is a simple matter, but coming all the way from 3.2 you might need to do it in a few hops. E.g. 3.2 -> 3.4 -> 4.1 -> 4.4.

Alternately if you really don't want to do that then you could export and re-import your civi data, but it won't be as complete. You won't be able to import contribution forms, for example.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
