Hello,

I'm testing SMARTGroup functions with a "Fall dinner guests" smart group created upon criteria "Participant to fall dinner event" on the WP sandbox.

I went to the contact list for this group, click on "Edit SM criteria" and a JS pop-up showed up. I added the role "Attendee" and clicked on "Search" to refresh the results. Then the civi logo spin around, the JS pop-up disappear and I was back on the main page with contacts member of this smart group.

However, when I want to choose "Update smart group criteria" in actions list, it only proposes me to create a new SM. I think there is an issue here. When I checked back the SM criteria, my change (added "Attendee" for role) has not been taken into account.

Edit : the "Update smart group criteria" is available in the JS pop-up when you click on edit, but cannot be used because you're back on the main page. i'd say that, once the criteria has been changed, you click on "Search" and then the JS should not disappear to be able to select "Update SM criteria" (this could be faster to have it selected by default in the list of actions, instead of "Create new SM").

++ couldn't it be possible to have the options "Mailing list" and "Parent group" when creating a SM, instead of setting these parameters in a second time ?
