Go to Administer/CiviMail/Message Templates then System Workflow Messages and click on Contribution Receipt (on-line) and you'll see that the width of the HTML section is about 40% of what it should be.  You can stretch it and save, but it reverts back to the small size.  Reproduced on sandbox, doesn't happen in 4.4.   In fact I think this happens for the HTML sections of all the templates in the System Workflow Messages.
