Compatibility of CiviExtension to export in HTML instead of CSV
August 18, 2014, 01:19:33 am
Hello,
Has anyone tested the TTTP extension (https://civicrm.org/extensions/export-excel/) to export in HTML format instead of CSV with Civi 4.5 beta versions ? Will it be compatible ?
Thanks

Erik Hommel

I've done some testing with 4.4.6 and 4.5 b7 - Seems to be OK with a mapping mixing standard civicrm fields and custom fields.

But for custom fields where text allowed is longer than 255 characters, they're truncated when exporting to xls, due to Excel cell size limitation.

It could be useful to update the extension to be able to save in xlsx to overcome this limit.

Hope this helps.
Thanks
